Beqst Ltd is registered in England and Wales and acts as the data controller for your personal information.

2. Data We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.

Estate planning data

Information you choose to enter about your assets, liabilities, beneficiaries, executors, final wishes, and other estate details. This data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

Usage data

We collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve our service.

  • To provide and maintain the Beqst estate planning service
  • To communicate with you about your account and service updates
  • To improve our platform based on anonymised usage patterns

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in UK-based data centres. We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Sensitive fields (such as financial account details) receive additional field-level encryption.

We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to maintain the highest security standards.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription. After account deletion, we retain data for 30 days before permanent deletion. Certain data may be retained longer where required by law.
