These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beqst estate planning platform operated by Beqst Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Beqst provides a digital platform for organising estate planning information. Our service is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, or financial advice.

We are not a law firm, solicitor, financial adviser, or tax adviser. For complex estates, we recommend consulting qualified professionals.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Beqst for any unlawful purpose, to store information you do not have the right to store, or to attempt to access other users' data.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Beqst offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Beqst. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export your data at any time.

7. Executor Access

You may designate one or more executors who will receive limited access to your estate information. Executor access is granted at your discretion and can be revoked at any time while your account is active.

8. Limitation of Liability

Beqst is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information stored in or provided through our platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
